Learn About Proper Dental Hygiene Education & Preventative Care
Oral Health Care From Your Vancouver Dentists
Proper dental hygiene is crucial for your oral health. This is something you can take care of at home on a daily basis with the regular support of your dentist approximately every six months. Our staff at West Broadway Dentist is committed to helping you achieve the healthiest smile possible. When you come into our office, you will always receive a warm welcome and attentive personalized care. This includes helpful, individualized recommendations on the best way to promote and protect your dental health both in our office and when you’re at home.
The iTero intraoral scanner is a powerful piece of dental technology that we’re proud to offer in our office. This device quickly delivers a detailed 3D visualization of your mouth. Available on a multitouch screen, this imagery is easy to manipulate and share, so we can give our patients a clear picture of their dental health that’s easy to understand.
We combine our iTero scans with dental X-rays to ensure we’re getting a complete look at your dental health both inside and out. These tools are available right in our office, so we’re always equipped to get additional scans or X-rays as needed to help us plan more complex procedures or follow up on recent treatments.
Our conservative approach to dental health utilizes observation rather than invasive procedures whenever possible. By keeping up with your regular visits, you can get the attentive care and recommendations you need to stay on top of any potential problems. Problems often develop so slowly that you won’t notice anything is wrong until the issue has progressed significantly. However, we can catch issued like receding gums, moving teeth, and the formation of small cavities very early when you come in for routine visits.
